Haysite composite formulations are successfully tested to meet the transit and building industry’s requirements for flame/smoke generation and smoke toxicity, meeting UL 94V-0 and multiple ASTM specifications. Haysite compression molded composite panels exhibit excellent flame, smoke, and toxicity properties (FST) and are uniquely engineered for use as a floor material in light transit rail car interiors, and multi-wheeled vehicle applications.
Haysite’s Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic materials offer high chemical resistance coupled with low smoke and flame spread values. These composites are a standard product choice in harsh laboratory environments such as liners for fume hoods.
